Our Purpose

Is to provide holistic support and guidance through life coaching, spiritual enrichment, and emotional support. Helping individuals overcome adversity and achieve stability, hope, and a brighter future.

Vision

Empowering individuals and families to rise above adversity, overcome addiction, and successfully reintegrate into society after incarceration, achieving self-sufficiency, wholeness, and a brighter future, guided by the teachings of Christ

Feed the Need

Looking ahead, Uplift Ministries has set ambitious 1-year and 2-year goals aimed at establishing a comprehensive network of resources and expanding its services to further support individuals on their journey to stability and self-sufficiency. 

1-Year Goal

Establish a comprehensive network of resources to support individuals in rebuilding their lives and achieving stable living situation.

This network will include:

  • Partnerships with local organizations and services

  • Access to education, job training, and employment opportunities

  • Counseling and mentorship programs

  • Housing assistance and placement services

  • Healthcare and wellness resources

2-Goal

Expand Uplift Ministries

Services to include:

  1. Transportation Services: Provide reliable transportation for program participants to access resources, appointments, and opportunities.

  2. Uplift Center: Establish a safe, welcoming space for individuals to learn and grow. Offer training programs, workshops, and classes in:
          - Life skills and coping mechanisms​ 
          - Family management and parenting
          - Vocational training and trade skills
          - Spiritual growth and teachings of Christ

  3.  Self-Sufficiency Programs: Develop initiatives to empower individuals to become self-sufficient, including:        
           - Financial literacy and budgeting
           - Job readiness and placement
           - Education and personal development

My Story

"From Darkness to Redemption: My Journey with God"

After 20+ years of struggling with addiction and 11 years in and out of prison, I hit rock bottom. But in that darkest moment, God answered my mother's prayer and transformed my life forever.

​

On December 29th, 2023 I was released from prison, and by March, I became a certified life coach. This newfound purpose led me to establish Uplift Ministries in June. Our mission is to empower individuals to overcome adversity, addiction, and trauma, and become productive members of society. 

​

Through Uplift Ministries, we've launched Vent Sessions, an online support group where people can share their struggles, heal from past wounds, and grow into their best selves. This safe space fosters connection, community, and spiritual growth. 

​

God's blessings have been abundant, and I continue to grow in faith and strength. Uplift Ministries is dedicated to community outreach, serving the less fortunate, and providing resources for those seeking a better life.

​

Our vision is to establish a safe haven where individuals can learn trades, life skills, and become self-sufficient. With God's guidance, we're working tirelessly to make this vision a reality.

I'm living proof that redemption is possible, and I'm committed to helping others find their own path to freedom and purpose.
